Summer Programs
We at Language Link have many years of successful experience running summer programs, which are attended by students from universities, colleges and language centers in both Europe and America. We have hosted student groups from Spain, Germany and the USA.
A summer program ranges from two to four weeks, according to specific requests from students, and includes language and cultural programs.
The unique character of our programs stems from their broad social and cultural context: depending on the wishes of our students, we include 2-3 lectures by famous publicists on the topics of Russian and Soviet history, modern society, literature and art.
Language Link lays out a busy excursion program, which can include visits to museums, theatres and concerts depending on the students’ choices. As a rule, the program also includes a trip to one of the cities of the Golden Ring and to our Venice of the North, Saint Petersburg.
The teachers who work with our students accompany them on all excursions and trips and ensure constant communication in Russian.
Residence with Russian host families also enables language improvement and constant, daily practice, though students do have a choice of residence either in a hostel located near the school or with a Russian family.
Flexibility is our credo, and for this reason the dates and content of all the programs we organize may be changed in order achieve maximum consideration for the level of language knowledge and interests of the students.
