New Business Russian Express Course for Businessmen

Language Link's Russian Language Centre is offering a special business Russian course which lasts for one month (24 class hours in total). Lessons will take place two times a week in the evening in groups of no more than 4 people.

Language Link - Volgograd

VOLGOGRAD The Volgograd Language Link Centre proposes a fascinating trip to the town of Veshenskaya for students studying Russian language, customs and traditions. Students will find out about the life and works of the writer M. A. Sholokhov, visit museums and literary exhibitions, take in the atmosphere of the famous novel, 'The Quiet Don', will get to know the life of the Cossacks and sample their national cuisine.

VOLGOGRAD Picnics in the countryside, horse riding, riverside walks along the Don and Cossack songs and dances will make this trip an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.

Dates of the next trips: 4th of May, 15th of June.
Accommodation: double, triple and quadruple rooms at a guest house.
Cost: 135 euro (includes accommodation, meals and entertainment).

Intensive Courses

In Moscow we run regular 2-week intensive courses for beginner to intermediate levels, at special discounted rates. We can also provide visa support and accommodation if required. Extra weeks (to extend your course up to a maximum of three months) can be arranged upon request.

This price includes: 40 academic hours of group tuition with Language Link's expert teachers, administration fee, welcome materials, course books, testing, welcome and good-bye tea parties, and pastoral support.

Lessons are usually held between 10am and 1.15pm, Mon - Fri. Optional excursions (for an additional fee) take place in the afternoon and evening. Group size varies from 2 - 5 students.

For students wishing to participate in excursions during their programme, the following are on offer subject to availability and demand (please just talk to us about this once you are here):

  • An evening at the Bolshoi Theatre
    Spend an unforgettable evening watching the ballet or opera at Russia's most famous theatre.
  • An excursion round the Kremlin
    Visit the Kremlin at the heart of Moscow, former residence of the Grand Dukes and Metropolitans of Moscow and later residence of the Tsars. Today, the Kremlin is the residence of the President of Russia. On its territory you can visit the Patriarch's Palace, 5 beautiful cathedrals built in the 15-17th centuries, and the amazing collections of the Armoury, not to mention the Tsar Bell, Tsar Cannon, the State Kremlin Palace and the former Senate building.
  • An evening at the Conservatory
    Enjoy an evening listening to world-class classical music at the famous Moscow State Conservatory
  • A trip to Victory Park
    Visit the park and museum which opened in 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the victory over the Nazis. A visit in the evening when the fountains are lit up is not to be missed.
  • A boat trip along the Moscow River
    Take in the main sites of Moscow on a leisurely cruise along the Moscow River. The sites include: the Kremlin, Sparrow Hills and the Moscow State University, the Novodevichy Monastery, the Luzhniki Sports Stadium and Gorky Park.
  • An excursion round Novodevichy Monastery (New Maidens' Convent)
    Visit what is considered one of the most beautiful monasteries in Moscow, founded in 1524 in commemoration of the recapture of Smolensk by Russian forces. The excursion also includes a visit to the Novodevichy cemetery, the resting place of Mikhail Bulgakov, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Sergei Eisenstein, Shostakovich and Nikita Khrushchev.
  • A trip to Sergiev Posad
    Visit the treasured Trinity Monastery of St Sergius, located in the town of Sergiev Posad, 60 kilometres north east of Moscow and one of the Golden Ring cities. Founded in the first half of the 1340s, the monastery, residence of the Patriarch of All Russia, is the religious centre of the Russian Orthodox Church. Sergiev Posad is also the birthplace of the Russian matryoshka doll.
