December
The semester has finished for the 43 students who came to us this year to study Russian under the RLUS programme. Some of them are going home, but the other 24 will continue to study with us. They chose to study with Language Link in Moscow for a year. The students prepared a concert for the traditional Russian end of semester tea party which was also celebration of the New Year. They sung songs, read poems, performed a wonderful sketch called the "Culinary Duel". After this they took part in lively games with the teachers. The students won, of course. Happy holidays!

We offer specialist revision classes in translation, grammar, conversational language, Russian Literature and History of Russia, which students may choose from according to their personal requirements.
For more details see Hot Offers.
September
In September, the academic year began for students, who have come to us on the RLUS semester program. After a week-long intensive course 7 groups have begun regular classes (by subjects). Forty-three students have joined the program this year. Interestingly, amongst the students from British universities, there are several east European students, from Poland and the Czech Republic. They have a good level of Russian language and a great wish to improve it. Also, this year students have joined the program from Finland, Italy, Sweden, France and Germany. We are very happy to say that the program is expanding its borders.
We wish all, both students and teachers, an interesting and happy semester!
August
Our regular summer intensive course, an intensive program for learning Russian, took place in August. Two groups were truly international: students came from Japan, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Syria. Robert Olsen from Norway came to us for the second time. Amongst our students were many teachers and it is always interesting and fun when a teacher becomes a student.
July
We are delighted to welcome BEAUFOUR IPSEN PHARMA among the corporate clients of our Russian department. Intensive 2-week and 3-week group Russian language courses start in July.
We invite our teachers to take part in a teaching Russian as a foreign language course starting on August 18.
June
In June, RLUS students on 18-week or 36-week courses finished their studies.
At the end of their course, they arranged a concert where they sang Russian songs,
recited poems and staged scenes from Moscow life.
"Thank you for a fabulous semester, we will always remember Language Link and our teachers",
"It was cool to study with you," - the students wrote in their goodbye letters.
Two wonderful news posters made by the RLUS students have been left at Language Link to remind us of them.
May
In May, two professionals from the European Central Bank studied with us. Classes with employees of companies that signed contracts with Language Link continued: this is a Swedish specialist from DeLaval, a French engineer from Beg Ingenierie Rus and an Irish consultant from Baker&McKenzie CIS Ltd. New employees of Mercedes-Benz Russia, Imperial Tobacco Ltd and ICICI Bank Eurasia began classes.
April
On April 17 a learning group arrived to us from Berlin (Germany) as part of the Russian Holidays travel and education program. Over a period of 10 days our guests will experience a packed cultural program with excursions around Moscow and to the New Jerusalem Monastery. They will visit museums and theatres, as well as listen to lectures on culture and religion (in German). Of course, they will also have Russian lessons (2 academic hours a day).
All of our guests are staying with families in order to learn more about Russian people and to see Russian life first hand, not just from the window of a tour bus.
In the photo: Our guests from Germany at a lecture on Russian culture with professor V. Mikushevich of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), who is also a well-known culture specialist, writer and poet.
March
Please take note that there will be a change in the price of individual as well
as group training starting April 1, 2008. The price of morning and evening group classes will now
be the same, while the price of group classes during the day has not changed.
The price for individual classes will change.
February
In February after the holidays, 17 students from various British universities returned to Language Link after studying with us in the first semester.
New students also arrived from the universities of Birmingham, Sheffield, Oxford, Nottingham, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
We greeted them with the traditional "Russkiy Chai" Party - a tea party with lots of sweet things where you can get to know one another and talk about the programme in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are currently 48 students studying with us on the RLUS programme which is more than ever.
We wish the students and the teachers an interesting and successful semester!
